Jackie Lines – Writer and Producer
Jackie Lines has been writing for most of her life and turned to playwriting in 2013. In 2017 Whisking Eggs was performed by Second Thoughts Drama Group and entered for the Lighthorne One Act Festival. Jackie was nominated for the George Taylor Memorial Award and Whisking Eggs is being considered for the National Drama Festival awards. Previous works have been performed as ‘script in hand’. She has been developing her current production Streets Apart since early 2018.
Jackie is also a guide for Stratford Town Walks, having previously been a street entertainer for their ghost walks.
Moving to Stratford in 2002 she trained as a disability teacher, predominately in delivering drama. In 2005 she founded In2theatre, directing, teaching, writing and adapting plays for a growing membership of enthusiastic special needs actors. Productions ranged from Shakespeare to Hi di Hi. Although no longer managing In2theatre she is pleased that the company continues to go from strength to strength.
Her greatest inspirations are Alan Bennett, Sue Townsend, Mike Leigh and the great British sit com writers from Eric Chappell, Jimmy Perry, David Croft and Ronald Wolfe to French and Saunders.
Greg Cole – director
Greg studied theatre in the 90’s and directed several plays in London and produced two Edinburgh Festival plays. He moved into film and worked as a 1st Assistant Director on two features and many short films, including for the BBC and working with the likes of Bob Hoskins, Neil Stuke and Danny John Jules.
I have continued to direct plays and films, recently producing, My Name is Rachel Corrie with Heartbreak Productions, The River by Jez Butterworth, and an original play called I Didn’t Think I Was Racist, But I Killed A Romanian at the Loft Theatre, Leamington, to critical acclaim.
Chris Musson – composer
Chris Musson was a member of The Barn Theatre Didcot from 1970 – 1976. He joined Second Thoughts Drama Group in 2017 and worked on the technical side for A Bunch Of Amateurs (Lighting) and Whisking Eggs (Lighting design). He performed in Time Masons. He also trod the Holy Trinity boards in A Midsummer Nights Dream. He was the Sound Technician for Lilies on the Land for the Bear Pit Theatre Company .
As a musician, Chris has played with The Black Horse Band, Crew 702, Out all Hours and performed with several Cornish musicians as well as making solo appearances
